Seminar on ‘Academic-Industry Collaboration of Innovation’ Held at RUET

A seminar titled 'Academic-Industry Collaboration of Innovation: Real-World Challenges and Advances in Turbo Machinery' was held at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET). The event took place on Monday (18 August) at the university hall room, organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).

Vice-Chancellor of RUET, Professor Dr. S M Abdur Razzak, attended the seminar as the Chief Guest and delivered his speech.

Highlighting the importance of such seminars, the Vice-Chancellor said, 'After acquiring academic knowledge, there remains a gap in practical, hands-on experience. To bridge this gap, we arrange seminars like this with the participation of industries from home and abroad. These sessions not only enhance our students’ practical knowledge but also provide them with valuable insights into different industrial organizations.'

The seminar was presided over by Professor Dr. Md. Emdadul Hoque, Director of IQAC, RUET. Among others, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical & Computer Engineering Professor Dr. Bashir Ahmed, Director of the Students' Welfare Office Professor Dr. Md. Rabiul Islam Sarkar, Additional Director of IQAC Professor Dr. Md. Mahmud Sazzad, and Managing Director of Roto Tech Bangladesh Ltd. Md. Abdul Aziz also addressed the program.

The seminar was attended by faculty members and students from various departments of RUET. The event was cooperated by the RUET Society of Automotive Engineering.
